Our Pastor

Pastor Jennings is a born-again, Spirit-filled man of God. He is the son of Mr. Sherman A. Jennings and the late Mrs. Deloris S. Jennings. He grew up and completed his early education in Halifax County, Virginia. Pastor Jennings received his Bachelor of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary where he also was an all-conference basketball player. After college, Pastor Jennings worked for the State of Virginia for over 17 years. He is married to Minister Kimberly F. Jennings and they have two daughters, Kameron and Kaitlyn, and one son Terence II.

Pastor Jennings was installed as the pastor on November 26, 2017 by the Founding Pastor of From the Heart Church Ministries®, the late Dr. John A. Cherry. He continues to serve in this capacity under the leadership of the Episcopal Pastor of From the Heart, Bishop John A. Cherry II. From March 2012 to October 2017, Pastor Jennings served as the Elder-in-Charge of the Fredericksburg Expansion Location of From the Heart Church Ministries of Richmond.

Pastor Jennings is a grateful recipient and proclaimer of the mercy, grace, and righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. He takes seriously the responsibility of caring for the precious people of God and preaching the truth of His Word.
